October, 2002: Wally's Drive-In Meet

Well it looks as if fall has finally arrived here in the Northwest. It started as a cloudy, gloomly looking day with a chance of rain in the forcast, but luckly it only misted some going through Kent on the way up. In Renton met up with Kristin and Matt. Talked a while about what's been happening. Kristin told us about her incident with a Moose in August while on a trip just outside of Packwood, luckly the damage was minor, just a dent in the hood and the fog broke loose. Waited a bit for anyone else to show then went on the drive to Buckley. The trees were just starting to change their colors so it was a beautiful drive on the winding road with the wind blowing the leaves around and across the road. Got to Wally's at about 1:30 pm, Francois and Tonya were waiting for us and everyone was hungry and ready to eat. The food was great and the atmosphere was pure '50's with car-hops and all. After we ate got time to take some pictures of the cars that came and the sun had just broke through the clouds to at this time. Everyone had a great time.
