March/April, 2002: A&W Meet

A few of us trained up after meeting up at Geo's house to the A&W in Kent from the south. Great weather this time around. After meeting up, we popped the tops off to start taking pictures as the rest of the group arrived. Everyone chatted about what's been happening with them as of late. Mike showed off his NASA designed hood scoop for cold air intake, very impressive. Rob brought his Mean Green Machine, (welcome back, looking great, Darren's dad Bob did the painting). Then we then all went into A&W for a bite to eat. Afterwards we talked about how the club was going and what was needed at this date in time and about some of the future meets coming up. After that Robert said he knew of a park close by, so we all trained over for more pictures. We then went on a fun run throughout the Kent area. The members that attended this time out were: Bob, Brett, Carrie, Darren, Eric, Francois, Geo, Jeff, Mike, Rob, Robert, and Tim. We also had a new person (Brett with a SI) check us out when he saw our cars in the park, he just lives a few block away and will be joining us next time around, hopefully. At the end most of us went back down to SpeedLine to check out what was new there before heading home. An all in all great time and excellent meet this month. Thanks to all for coming this time, see everyone at the next meet. -Geo
