July 17rd, 2004: Alder Lake Meet

The meet up point was Axion this time around. Thomas stopped at Geo's house before going to Axion. We stopped in and said hi to everyone there. By this time Brian and Ellen showed up, we waited a bit more to see if anyone else was coming. We then when to Arby's to get something to eat before training up to Alder Lake. Brian said he was going to keep the top off even though he had the pretty good start on a sunburn. The drive up was excellent, not to much in the way of traffic, so we got to enjoy the twisty road. Also with each of us having a 'talkabout' it kept it interesting on the drive being able to talk to each other while driving. It was definitely sultry this time out as you needed to turn on your air conditioning every once in a while. After making it to Alder Lake Park we walked around for a while and talked about our cars and the plans we have for them. After a bit it started to drizzle so we started making our way back before it really started raining. The rain pretty much held off, so the run back was very pleasant, especially La Grande and out of the Ohop Valley. It was a great run and I'm sorry if you missed it, it was a lot of fun.
