July 13rd, 2003: Seaside Meet

Three of us (Dennis & Sandy, Thomas and Geo and Mae) trained down to Seaside on Saturday for the meet on Sunday, Thomas first meeting up at Geo's house, then meeting up with Dennis and Sandy in Satsop. We arrived in Seaside Oregon and checked in to our motel rooms, then we all got back together to 'see' the town and get something to eat for dinner. On Sunday morning while checking out some of the other parks in the area, ran into Robert and Ben eating breakfast at McDonald's, from there we went to Broadway Park to wait for the rest of the folks to show up, first Thomas came then Dennis and Sandy, shortly thereafter David rolled in, and a few minutes later Roy showed up. We started by introducing everybody to everyone and then taking some pictures for prosperity. Waited for awhile to see if anyone else was going to show which didn't happen, so then we proceeded to Bigfoot's to get something to eat, (great food by the way). Talked a bit more then broke up to head home for the day. On a very sad note, not one Team Sol Oregon member took the time to show up in 'Seaside' and make it to the meet, very disappointing, the only ones that showed were all 'Washington' cars (6 cars, 9 people). Anyway those in attendants this time around: Geo and Mae, David, Dennis and Sandy (Brent's folks), Robert and his friend Ben, Roy (first time to a TS of WA meet, welcome to TS of WA Roy), and Thomas.
