August, 2000: North Meet (Snohomish Fun Run)We met up at Maltby Cafe, a quaint little shopping and eating area just above Kirkland and Bellevue. The weather was just prefect for a Fun run threw the small hills and farm land there. It seemed to be a popular spot for this kind of thing as the other cars we saw (Corvettes, BMWs, GTIs, Toyota GTs, and Porsches). It had it all 180 hairpins, S turns and straight-a-ways. We did a twenty-five mile run then stopped at David's house for a few minutes, adjusted air pressure on the tires and then went out again for another run. Then we stopped and took some pictures, talked about the current mods everyone did to their cars, about future mods and some about our next meet. A real adrenaline rush overall. -Geo | ||
