This is a interesting alternative to doing the Indiglo Gauge thing for your
Sol.
1. Take gauge pod out. Disconnect all terminals so that you can take out the
cluster.
2. When the cluster is out the little black knobs are bulbs. Turn 1/2 turn or less and then pull. Very easy.
3. Some bulbs have green on them. Pull or scrape this off with your fingernail. They are just little rubber pieces.
4. Dip bulbs into Red Testors model paint.... Just the bulb!!
5. Then take a paper towel and wipe off some of the paint from bulb. What should be left is just a thin layer of red paint.
6. Dry with a hair dryer. Don't get close to the bulb, it may blowout the bulb. This will help it illuminate better.
7. Put them back in the gauge. Do one at a time. When done with all the bulbs, put gauges back in, hook up wires but don't finish the install until you see if it works. If the white numbers are red then you did it right.
8. Then finish the install of the gauges and enjoy.
